Common leg circuits

New for January 2010! A common leg circuit is often used in a TR module. In this case you get to use one amplifier for both transmit and receive. In some cases, a phase shifter or attenuator can be part of the common leg as well. In this case, these components do not have to be reciprocal, for example, you could use an active phase shifter such as a vector modulator.

There are (of course) performance tradeoffs to consider...
