Ferrite beads

Updated July 6, 2011

New for July 2011! Ferrite beads are inductor cores that are typically used to reject AC along a wire. A typical use is to stop oscillations on a curve tracer.

Big bag o' ferrite magic

We posted this page because William asked up to put a ferrite bead symbol in our electronic_symbol.doc download which is located here. This is the symbol supplied by William with some doctoring by us to get it into Word format. Thanks! If you have suggestions for improvement please email them!
