Nickel

Updated September 21, 2004

Nickel is a common metal, worth about five cents. Or it can be a conducting material in thin films, but suffers from skin depth problems due to its high permeability. The density of nickel is almost the same as copper, but the conductivity is much lower and melting point is higher.
