Hi I would like to ask your opinion about a system that I wish to set up. HF parallel plate system. The distance between the plates can be max 6 cm and min 4 cm. The electromagnetic field strength should be around 1000 V/m.
Could you please suggest me how I can build such a system and how I can produce microwaves at low and constant power?

Hi there,

What are you trying to accomplish? That impacts how it should be set up.

Also what sort of signals are you trying to generate? There's a big difference between HF (low MHz) and microwave (GHz+) sources, and there's a big difference between a pure tone at one frequency, a tone you can sweep across frequencies, and a broadband noise source. But all of them are microwaves, and all can produce at low and constant power.
