Here's a product that isn't truly an absorbing material, but it saved our butts. It's conductive foam from Laird Technologies. You can use it like a conductive gasket to remove gaps and cavities in ground planes. Check it out with a DVM, you can place the probe tips a few inches apart on the foam and read zero ohms. Never seen another conductive foam do that!
