MSU is located in East Lansing Michigan, founded in 1855 as a "aggie". It was actually the first land-grant college in the nation, which number 106 institutions today. Ignoring its "roots", MSU is often ranked in the top 100 colleges in the world, and has produced three Nobel laureates,20 Rhodes Scholars, 20 Marshall Scholars, and eight Pulitzer Prize winners.
