It's about time we added content this important topic of CCAs!

Circuit card assemblies start out as printed circuit boards, then have components assembled onto them. In the microwave business, almost all of the components are surface mount technology (SMT), but lately their has been a blur in the line between CCA and chip-and-wire assemblies.

Microwave circuit card assemblies are used in your cell phone, your Dish Network low noise block (that do-hickie that mounts in front of the parabolic dish).
