Silver sinter paste is a new attachment material that is gaining traction in attaching power amplifier chips. It is like a cross between conductive epoxy and solder. Sintered silver can have thermal condiuctivity of greater than 100 W/mK, which is much higher than silver-loaded epoxy. It was devellped as a lead-free alternative, as a consequency of RoHS.
