Testing conducted emissions

New for March 2026. This topic is covered by one of our readers on his personal blog, Sebastian, who generously shared it with us.  Click here and go to his conducted emissions web page where you will learn how to make this important measurement that is a requirement for automotive product qualifications. While you are on his Baltic Lab blog, check out his material on other microwave related topics on the lower right. Then check out his Baltic Lab YoutTube channel!

Below is Sebastian's video explaining the conducted emission test.  Pay attention and you will add a new acronym to your vocabulary, the LISN (line impedance stabilization network).  The LISN is an appropriate acronym, as you are "listening" to your DUT!  Maybe it could be considered a "backronym". We added LISN to our acronym dictionary.
