Here is information on Jon Treacy's Montville Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on May 1st, 2026. You can print out the form and mail it with a check, or pay with Venmo. As of February 22, we have enough of Jon's classmates to fill two tables (twenty people!) The cost is $95 but it increases to $105 on March 15 so don't delay.

We have set up three ways to take your payments for the August 8th dinner. The cost is $95 per plate. If we get a choice in the matter, we prefer that you use a check or Zelle, as our Venmo account charges us a small transaction fee. It’s no big deal either way. Here are your payment options:

In the event that you pay and change your mind about attending, just let us know and we will refund your money. But don’t procrastinate on paying. We will raise the price by ten bucks in July.

Who is missing?
We have located over 200 of your classmates so far, but that's not enough. Here is a list of classmates we have not been able to find. Some of them transferred out of Montville during high school, but we won't hold that against them. In some cases all we have is a first initial, which is how they were identified as underclasspeople in yearbooks. If you have any knowledge about their whereabouts, shoot an email to sehuettner "at" gmail.com, of go to the Montville Alumni Association Class of 76 missing persons page and enter any data you have.

What's the event?
Greetings to MTHS Class of 1976. We are planning our fiftieth reunion for Summer of 2026. It is scheduled for the weekend of August 8, 2026.
The highlight of the weekend will be our Saturday night dinner venue at Cucina Calandra in Fairfield, NJ. Here is the menu, it will be a buffet style dinner:
SALAD
Caesar salad with homemade dressing - croutons on the side

Mozzarella tomato caprese bruschetta
Fried calamari with marinara sauce

Cavatelli with broccoli florets, sweet sausage in garlic and olive oil
Baked ziti with fresh ricotta and mozzarella

What's the plan so far?
Some of us 76ers went to the 1975 reunion in July 2025, where they invited other classes to fill out the event. We liked that idea so we plan to open the reunion to anyone that graduated from Montville. But keep in mind the vast majority of attendees will be geezers and geezettes, so don't expect Justin Timberlake on the play list!
We are locked in on the weekend of August 8, 2026. Save the date! Dinner is priced at $95.
Class of 75 organized events over a full weekend, and we plan to do likewise. Here are some ideas, subject to change:
- On Friday we might visit the high school, and we might hit the reservoir Tavern for pizza. Or we might do something entirely different!
- On Saturday we are thinking of organizing a tour of Montville Township, it could be on a tour bus, of maybe a fleet of cars linked together by a Zoom call. When was the last time you were at The Glen? Maybe we go crazy and make this a scavenger hunt?
- The reunion dinner will be Saturday night. at Cucina Calandra in Fairfield, and costs $95. You can stay at the Best Western Plus Executive Inn and not even have to move your car!
- Sunday we can get together for brunch at a local diner. Possibly the Red Barn in Towaco?
We don't expect everyone to attend every sideshow of this circus, but the more the merrier. We have some out-of-towners coming, so there will likely be some pre and post gaming, at the Best Western.
You can expect a lot of talk at the dinner while people catch up, but we are going to insist that they stay off the dance floor so we can bust some moves. Say, would anyone like to meet up for a group dance lesson before the dinner? Maybe that could be arranged. There could be a Jocks versus Nerds 70s trivia contest, and some questionnaires to fill out with your interesting tales of yore. Dress code is, don't be the slob you were in high school, no Vietnam-era fatigues with bullet holes please.
