New for May 2023

The "big show" of microwaves is put on by MTT-S every year, it's called the International Microwave Symposium (IMS). Typically 20,000 engineers from all over the world attend for up to a week. The event includes paper presentations of the latest research, tutorials that get into the hands-on aspects of new technologies, and a variety of contests including best paper, student presentations (including the three-minute thesis competition), and drawings by various vendors for fabulous prizes. There are also social events that start in the afternoon and run well into the night.

The Exibition hall has as many as 600 vendors showing off their latest in microwave offerings. The hall also offers coffee and snacks in the morning, drinks and snacks in the afternoons, and all the swag that you could possibly want to carry home with you, including the Stuffies of IMS.

You can even find Microwaves101 there, sharing a booth with our friends from everythingRF. Stop by to say hello, pick up a branded tchotchke, and maybe even run into the Unknown Editor (hint: he is not in this picture).
